                                Medal Winners

  A small group of Newcastle orienteers competed in the 2024  Australian Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships Carnival, held 18-20 October around Canberra, with three winning championship medals. 

Mass Start EventFirst - Presley Scouller-Evans (M12), Carolyn Matthews (W60), Robert Prentice (M70).
Sprint: First - Presley Scouller-Evans (M12), Carolyn Matthews (W60). Second - Robert Prentice (M70).
Middle distance: First - Presley Scouller-Evans (M12), Carolyn Matthews (W60), Robert Prentice (M70).

The 2024 National MTBO Series, which counted the best seven of twelve races, also concluded with these four events and saw Carolyn Matthews (W60), Andrew Power (M60) & Robert Prentice (M70) finish on top of their age classes.
