mtbo  Club members podium at State MTBO Championships

  Several Newcastle riders had podium finishes at the NSW Mountain Bike  Orienteering Championships, held on 12 & 14 October near Campbelltown & Appin. Carolyn Matthews (W60) finished top of her age class in the Sprint distance, with Robert Prentice (M40) and Malcolm Roberts (M60) both third. Saturday afternoon's Middle distance saw Nicole Haigh (W50), Carolyn Matthews (W60) and Rob Prentice (M70) take gold, with Andrew Power (M60) and Malcolm Roberts (M60) second and third in their class. Rob Prentice (M70) backed up with another win in Monday's Long distance with Nicole Haigh (W50) picking up silver.
