Season 2023-24 Has Concluded
Our club's annual Summer Street Series for Season 2023-24 (i.e. the 34th edition of Street-O) has been "run and won". Thanks to everyone who came along and participated. Congratulations to the winners for this season:

Season 2024-25 Begins October 2024
Street-O will resume in October 2024, with the 35th edition of the series. We expect that the calendar for this series to be finalised sometime in mid September 2024. If you feel that you could help out in the upcoming season (for example by setting an event) please send an email to:

Map Updates
Do you live on (or visit regularly) an area that is on one of our Street-O maps? If so, would you be interested in helping us keep that map up to date? Your involvement could be from just letting us know about updates that need to be made through to helping us actually updating the map itself or even mapping new areas for Street-O. Summer Street Series Event 17 - Mayfield

b. If, while you are out on course, you are sure you have visited a control site and can’t get MapRun to beep in acknowledgement then continue on your course and after you’ve finished submit a “Review Result (HITMO)” request using the

A Note About Safety: Newcastle Orienteering recommends that all competitors wear bright clothing or reflective gear throughout the season to enable drivers to see you especially if you are running near dusk. Please also take care when crossing roads and use recommended crossing points on busy roads. We also wish to remind competitors that listening to an ipod (or similar) while on course can be a distraction that may cause you to not hear an emergency warning or similar and as such are not allowed during these events for your safety.
