Oceania 2025 logo    Newcastle medalists at Oceania Championships                 
 A small group of Newcastle orienteers travelled "across the ditch" to New  Zealand to compete in the 2025 Oceania Championships, held 24-27 January in "sand dune" terrain in the lower North Island area, with several winning championship medals. 
Sprint: First - Alvin Craig (M21A), Jenny Enderby (W55A). Third - Baxter Peel (M14A).
Middle distance: First - Alvin Craig (M21A), Martina Craig (W55A). Second - Jenny Enderby (W55A).
Long distanceFirst - Alvin Craig (M21A), Martina Craig (W55A). Second - Margaret Peel (W55AShort). Third - Baxter Peel (M14A), Jenny Enderby (W55A).
Relay: Second - Baxter Peel (M14 NSW team), Justin Stafford (M35 AUS team), Jenny Enderby (W55 AUS team). Third - Erika Enderby (W20 AUS Team).
