NEW MAPS!

As part of the ONSW club expansion program Newcastle club is hosting 3 events in the Singleton area over the last weekend in October.
These are free events designed to showcase orienteering and to gauge public interest in the formation of a club in the area. Showing orienteers of all different ages and abilities in action to newcomers is very beneficial.
So we need help in many ways over the weekend. In “return” for a free run on these new maps being there to explain and talk to newcomers, collecting controls at the end of each event, helping with set up and doing the SI desk is how you can contribute.

The events will be Score format with 20 controls and 45 minute time limit in a mix of terrains and SI will be used. There are further details on Eventor and the ONSW website.
We really need your help. If you can come to even one event and help us out that would be very much appreciated. Please contact Russell and Carolyn Rigby 49 633857.

Event times are:

Friday 27 October 4-6pm
Saturday 28 October 3-5pm
Sunday 29 October 9:30-11:30am
