This is a beginners workshop where you will learn how to plan and set Bush Orienteering Courses from Blue to Red standard.
Is it for you?

¬ Have you set a Street event but are unsure about setting one in the Bush?
¬ Like to know why some controls are placed where they are?
¬ Find out why some legs are trickier than others.
¬ Do you want to improve your own orienteering skills by learning from our great course setters how they approach course planning?

This will be a practical "hands on" session run in conjunction with the Green-Orange Coaching Day on Saturday 21 May at Brush Creek.

From the Glendale Crossroads, turn right at the lights in Frederick Street (toward TAFE).
Turn Right into Clarke St and follow down to entry to Glendale High School. Follow Orienteering Signs to the parking area. Meet at this Parking area at 1pm. It would be advised that cars should be locked.

Please bring note paper, clipboard. There is some initial discussion/theory then the group will move to a practical section.

It is anticipated that finish time will be approximately 4pm.
