The first BOSS event is closing in fast (thats Bike Orienteering Summer Series for those not in the know) with the first event taking place on the 25th November at Brush Creek. This will be our clubs first official use of our new SI (SportIdent) system and if you don't have 'a stick' of your own they are available to hire on the day.

The second and final duo for the year is on 4th December at Blue Gum Hills in Minmi and will be using a new map and after this event the whole area will be embargoed until after the NSW championships next year. So as a special treat there will also be a combined Bush/Park event to coincide with the Duo (of course we won't be actually using the maps reserved for the championships). There will be a sausage sizzle and a coffee van (and he also has a slushie machine). More information can be found on this flyer.

Did you know that there is a permanent orienteering course in Newcastle? Its at Blue Gum Hills in Minmi. Provided by National Parks with the support of our club and the best part is that it is free to do! Maps are available at Blue Gum Hills.

Finally, the deadline for early bird entries for the Christmas 5-day event in Victoria is fast approaching. Enter by 20th November to recieve the discount.

Finally finally, the next club meeting will be held on 13th Dec at TBA (sorry previous listed address was last meeting! - web). Start at 7:30pm - come 'have your say'
