Welcome to Newcastle Orienteering Club

Orienteering is a competitive or non-competitive recreational activity in which participants use a detailed map (and usually a compass) to navigate between checkpoints (known as “controls”) along an unfamiliar course. If you like a mental and physical challenge and exploring the outdoors, orienteering is the sport for you!

Qualifier 2

Please Note: Some competitors were observed crossing out-of-bounds areas (e.g. gardens and areas where works were being done) at this event. Not only is this against the rules it is NOT in the spirit of the event and even worse it could mean that the Botanic Gardens management won't allow us back to this area. For everyone's sake, please stick to the rules.
