Setters Report
Another sunny day greeted NOY2 competitors, both local and those who dropped in on their way to Easter in Queensland. Luckily the good weather also kept the local leech population in check, as very few were spotted on people after their runs. While setting this event, between us, we were averaging 5 leeches every time we ventured out!
Congratulations to Alex Massey, who blitzed the Long course in just 37 minutes. Also extra congratulations to all those who attempted the very challenging Moderate courses and made it to the finish. The map is not called Heart Rate Hills for nothing!
If people can find the time to put their routes up on routegadget it would be appreciated, as we would like to see just how competitors approached the control locations. Thanks to all those that stopped afterwards and talked us through their decision making processes, all feedback is always useful and will only make the next we set event even better.
A handy link to drawing a route or uploading GPS files into routegadget can be found over on the UK routegadget website here.
